Hello, my name is Christiana and I am a writer who likes to write comedy.

Actually, that bit can be a bit tricky – but what I do like is hearing people laugh when they hear/see/read something I have written.

That IS lovely.

Sometimes I perform as a character of mine called Anne Crowther and she helped me win the Chorts LIVE! event which was decided by an audience vote.

So now I’ve already started blabbing on about my achievements, I might as well take this opportunity to tell you that I’ve also written for Newsjack, won a Bafta… Rocliffe Comedy Competition and had a script optioned by a production company.

But I’ll go into more detail about that in the different sections of this website.

What Else?

Well, just for my own personal peace of mind, you should know that I’m from Bolton so if you’ve been reading this with a southern accent up until now, please stop.

I live in Banbury now (which sounds much posher than it is, especially if you add that it’s in Oxfordshire) but a lot of what I write reflects the warmth, situations, dialogue and characters that I grew up with and love returning to when I’m home.
